Our Team

Brian Davies focuses on minimizing the impacts of climate change and ensuring sustainable food resources through educational and training materials.

He has knowledge in climate systems, the resources required for sustainable food production, digital transformations, and knowledge in various initiatives that promote sustainable food resources.

Brian understands the various technologies and tools needed to help create sustainable food resources.

One example of sustainable initiatives is the Agricultural Modelling Intercomparison and Improvement Project (AgMIP). This is a global initiative to advance crop modelling. Adopting mitigation actions help to offset the projected impacts on future crop & livestock production.

Another example is how the agri-food chain is adopting various digital technologies to advance sustainability.

Further adopting circular economy principles also advances sustainable food production.

Fourth, Brian is knowledge is climate and sustainability standards. He continues to provide input to the Standards Organization (ISO) for Greenhouse Gas Management (Measuring, Reporting, Carbon Footprint, and Adaptation) Standards.

In addition, he has experience in disaster risk reduction (DRR), project management, business, economics, statistics, marketing, and sales.

Brian has a B.Sc. from the University of Western Ontario (now Western University). He also has an MBA from York University (now Schulich School of Business).

In summary, Brian has the knowledge, skills & abilities to help organizations ensure sustainable food resources.
